No Act of Kindness, No Matter How Small, Is Ever Wasted

Friday was a sad day. Not only was it our last day volunteering, but it was also the last day of Holiday Club at Zambezi Sawmills. We decided to do an extra fun day for the kids and take lots of pictures with them.

The kids are immediately drawn towards the camera. They love to get their picture taken and see what they look like. They especially loved to see themselves today because of the wonderful face paints they received. Many of them have never seen their own reflection or photo before, and when they see a picture you have taken of them it is so adorable to see their impression. “Woooowwww,” they say. Then, “zoom in!” or “let me see again!” And they are all about the poses. Girls and boys both will get in front of that camera and work it!

After our morning projects today we got picked up and headed right to Botswana afterwards to spend the weekend camping and visiting Chobe National Park. Check back tomorrow for more on our fun-filled weekend!
